Second Global Dialogue
On 2-3 February 2020, at the invitation of the Government of Japan, the UNDP-led Access and Delivery Partnership (ADP) and the Global Health Innovative Technology Fund (GHIT Fund) over 100 participants, representing funders, biomedical innovators, governments and access and delivery experts and constituencies met together in Bangkok, Thailand for the Second Global Dialogue of Uniting Efforts for Innovation, Access and Delivery, immediately after the PMAC 2020/UHC Forum 2020.
Following the inaugural global dialogue in January 2019, which launched this global platform to facilitate the discussion and collaboration needed around the innovation, access and delivery of health technologies for neglected diseases – the second dialogue focused on sharing all the work that’s been done in 2019 and deepening the learning, sharing and collaborations among multi-sectoral partners.
By sustaining dialogue between key stakeholders on how to best work together to accelerate innovation, access and delivery of essential health technologies, our ultimate goal was to better address persistent inequalities in health and transform the way that health technologies for neglected diseases are financed, discovered, developed and delivered to those who need them the most.
